The Youth AC Milan 2006-07 Home Kit recreates the famous red-and-black home shirt from one of the club’s most celebrated modern European seasons — AC Milan’s 2006/07 UEFA Champions League triumph.
The shirt features Milan’s traditional red-and-black vertical stripes, combined with predominantly black sleeves and subtle gold detailing. The clean round-neck construction and curved panel styling give the shirt the distinctive mid-2000s appearance associated with a legendary squad featuring Kaká, Paolo Maldini, Andrea Pirlo, Clarence Seedorf, Gennaro Gattuso, Alessandro Nesta and Filippo Inzaghi.
The 2006/07 campaign became particularly significant for Kaká, who produced the defining European season of his career. Wearing No.22, the Brazilian scored 10 UEFA Champions League goals to finish as the competition’s leading scorer and played a decisive role in Milan’s journey to the title.
For player printing, KAKÁ 22 is the standout combination, while MALDINI 3, GATTUSO 8, INZAGHI 9, SEEDORF 10, NESTA 13 and PIRLO 21 represent other iconic members of the European champions.

Historical Significance: AC Milan’s seventh European Cup/UEFA Champions League title and Kaká’s defining 2006/07 European campaignA Difficult Beginning
The 2006/07 season began under unusual circumstances for Milan.
Following the Italian football scandal of 2006, the club entered the Serie A campaign with an eight-point deduction. That handicap made a domestic title challenge extremely difficult and placed additional pressure on Carlo Ancelotti’s experienced squad.
Milan nevertheless recovered strongly enough to finish fourth in Serie A, securing Champions League qualification for the following season.
The domestic campaign, however, would ultimately become secondary to what the team achieved in Europe.
Road to Athens
Milan's Champions League journey actually began in the third qualifying round, making the eventual triumph an especially long European campaign.
After reaching the knockout stage, Milan eliminated Celtic in the Round of 16. The tie remained goalless through 180 minutes before Kaká scored the decisive extra-time goal at San Siro.
The quarter-finals brought a meeting with Bayern Munich. After a 2–2 draw in Milan, Ancelotti's team produced an excellent performance in Germany, winning 2–0 to advance.
That set up one of the defining ties of the entire competition: AC Milan vs Manchester United.
Kaká vs Manchester United
The first leg at Old Trafford became one of Kaká’s signature performances.
He scored twice as Milan narrowly lost 3–2, leaving the semi-final finely balanced.
The return match at San Siro produced one of Milan’s finest European performances of the era. Kaká opened the scoring, Clarence Seedorf added the second and Alberto Gilardino completed a 3–0 victory.
Milan advanced 5–3 on aggregate, securing a place in the Champions League Final against Liverpool.
Kaká's performances throughout the tournament were exceptional. UEFA records him as the 2006/07 Champions League's leading scorer with 10 goals, four ahead of the group of players who finished on six.
2007 UEFA Champions League Final
The final was played against Liverpool in Athens on 23 May 2007, creating a rematch of the dramatic 2005 final in Istanbul.
Milan won 2–1.
Filippo Inzaghi scored both goals, first redirecting Andrea Pirlo’s free kick shortly before half-time and then finishing after being released by Kaká in the second half. Liverpool pulled one back late through Dirk Kuyt, but Milan held on to become European champions. UEFA's final records confirm the Milan starting XI included Maldini, Gattuso, Inzaghi, Seedorf, Nesta, Pirlo and Kaká.
For captain Paolo Maldini, it was another extraordinary milestone in a career inseparable from Milan's European history.
The victory delivered the club's seventh European Cup/UEFA Champions League title.
Kaká's Defining Season
Although Inzaghi scored both goals in the final, the defining player of Milan's overall European campaign was Kaká.
He finished with 10 goals in 13 Champions League appearances from the group stage onward, comfortably winning the competition's scoring title. UEFA's technical report described him as the outstanding figure of Milan's campaign and noted that he also created Inzaghi's decisive second goal in Athens.
His performances against Celtic, Bayern Munich and particularly Manchester United established 2006/07 as the defining season of his Milan career.
Kaká subsequently won the 2007 Ballon d'Or, completing an extraordinary year in which he had become the central figure of Europe's championship-winning team.
The 2006/07 Home shirt therefore represents much more than a classic Milan design. It belongs to the season of Athens 2007, Milan's seventh European crown and Kaká at the absolute peak of world football.
