The Como 2001–02 Home Retro Football Jersey celebrates one of the greatest achievements in the Italian club's modern history. Under manager Loris Dominissini, Como won the 2001–02 Serie B championship, finishing first with 74 points from 38 matches and securing promotion to Serie A for the first time in 13 years. The triumph completed an extraordinary sequence of back-to-back promotions, taking the club from Serie C1 to Italy's top division in just two seasons and establishing the campaign as an unforgettable chapter in Como's football heritage.
The championship-winning squad featured influential players including Luís Oliveira, Carlo Taldo, Oscar Brevi, Cristian Stellini, Nicola Corrent and Nicola Zanini. Oliveira was the outstanding performer, scoring 23 league goals to claim the Serie B goalscoring title, while Taldo contributed another 10 league goals. Their attacking performances, supported by an experienced and organised team, helped Como finish ahead of Modena, Reggina and Empoli to claim the championship.
The home jersey features Como's traditional royal-blue colour scheme, complemented by lighter blue inserts and a contrasting white collar that give the shirt its distinctive early-2000s appearance. The club crest appears on the chest, while the prominent Magiste sponsorship completes the classic period design. Combining the unmistakable blue identity of Como with the historical significance of its 2001–02 Serie B championship, this retro home jersey is a memorable tribute to the club's remarkable return to Serie A.

Season Information
The 2001–02 season was one of the most remarkable campaigns in Como's modern history, as the Lombardy club won the Serie B championship and secured promotion to Italy's top division for the first time since 1989.
Under head coach Loris Dominissini, Como completed a remarkable rise through the Italian football pyramid, winning back-to-back promotions from Serie C1 to Serie B and then Serie A.
Serie B — Champions
Having earned promotion from Serie C1 in 2000–01, Como entered the 2001–02 Serie B season as a newly promoted team.
Despite facing established clubs such as Napoli, Bari, Cagliari, Reggina and Modena, Como produced an outstanding campaign built around attacking efficiency and consistent performances.
The team finished first with 74 points, recording 22 victories, eight draws and eight defeats across 38 matches.
Como scored 53 goals and conceded 35, finishing two points ahead of second-placed Modena.
The championship secured the club's return to Serie A after a 13-year absence and completed an extraordinary sequence of two consecutive promotions.
Luís Oliveira — Serie B Top Scorer
The outstanding individual performer of Como's championship-winning campaign was Luís Oliveira, the experienced Belgian international striker of Brazilian origin.
Oliveira scored 23 league goals in 38 appearances, finishing as the leading goalscorer in the entire Serie B competition.
Having previously played for clubs including Cagliari and Fiorentina, Oliveira brought valuable top-flight experience, technical quality and clinical finishing to Como's attack.
His goals were instrumental in transforming a newly promoted Serie B side into league champions.
Loris Dominissini — Back-to-Back Promotions
Head coach Loris Dominissini played a central role in Como's remarkable rise.
After guiding the club to promotion from Serie C1 in 2000–01, he retained much of the squad's core and established an effective system capable of competing at a higher level.
Players such as Oscar Brevi, Marco Taldo, Nicola Corrent, Roberto Stellini, Daniele Gregori and Alex Brunner provided the experience, defensive stability and consistency required throughout the championship campaign.
The team's success represented an exceptional achievement for a club that had spent more than a decade outside Serie A.
Coppa Italia — Round of 16
Como also reached the Round of 16 in the 2001–02 Coppa Italia, providing another opportunity for the newly promoted side to compete against higher-level opposition.
Although the cup campaign ended before the quarter-finals, the club's main achievement remained its outstanding Serie B championship victory.
The 2001–02 home jersey is therefore closely associated with one of Como's greatest modern accomplishments: winning the second-division title and returning to Serie A after 13 years.
