The Sampdoria 1991–92 Home Retro Football Shirt represents one of the most celebrated periods in the club's history. Entering the campaign as defending Serie A champions, Vujadin Boškov's side wore the Scudetto on their famous blue home shirt and embarked on an extraordinary European Cup run. Gianluca Vialli, Roberto Mancini, Attilio Lombardo, Pietro Vierchowod, Toninho Cerezo and Gianluca Pagliuca formed the core of a memorable Sampdoria generation that ultimately reached the European Cup Final at Wembley.
Sampdoria topped their European Cup group ahead of defending champions Red Star Belgrade, Anderlecht and Panathinaikos to earn a place in the final against Barcelona. The Wembley showpiece remained goalless through 90 minutes before Ronald Koeman's free-kick in the 112th minute gave Barcelona a narrow 1–0 extra-time victory. Despite the defeat, the campaign remains Sampdoria's greatest run in Europe's premier club competition.
Produced by ASICS, the shirt features Sampdoria's unmistakable royal-blue base and iconic white, red and black horizontal chest band. The classic ERG sponsorship, St. George's Cross shield and blue polo collar create an unmistakable early-1990s appearance, while the Italian Scudetto proudly celebrates Sampdoria's historic 1990–91 Serie A championship. Worn during the club's journey from Italian champions to European Cup finalists, the 1991–92 home shirt remains one of the defining designs of Sampdoria's golden era.

We recommend No.9, associated with Gianluca Vialli, as the standout printing choice for the Sampdoria 1991–92 Home Retro Football Shirt. Vialli finished the campaign as Sampdoria's leading scorer with 20 goals in all competitions, including six during the club's remarkable European Cup run. The season culminated in a historic appearance in the European Cup Final at Wembley against Barcelona and also marked Vialli's final campaign with Sampdoria, giving the No.9 shirt exceptional significance for collectors.
Our second recommendation is No.10, associated with Roberto Mancini, Vialli's legendary attacking partner and one of the defining players of Sampdoria's golden era. No.7, associated with Attilio Lombardo, is another outstanding period-specific choice and represents one of the most recognisable members of the side that reached the 1992 European Cup Final.
