The Barcelona 2004–05 Away Retro Football Jersey celebrates a landmark season in the club's modern history. Under manager Frank Rijkaard, Barcelona reclaimed the La Liga championship after a six-year wait, finishing first with 84 points and establishing the foundations of a new era of success. Led by the exceptional talent of Ronaldinho, the team combined attacking creativity, technical quality and outstanding individual performances to return to the top of Spanish football.

This version features the iconic RONALDINHO 10 printing, celebrating the Brazilian superstar during one of the most influential periods of his career. Alongside teammates such as Samuel Eto'o, Deco, Xavi Hernández and Carles Puyol, Ronaldinho helped transform Barcelona into one of Europe's most exciting teams. The season also marked the official first-team debut of a young Lionel Messi, adding further historical significance to this memorable campaign.

The jersey features a distinctive royal-blue and navy-blue design, with alternating vertical stripes of varying widths running down the central front and back. Bright red piping follows the curved shoulder seams and both sides of the body, creating a striking contrast against the two-tone blue fabric. The rounded navy neckline, contrasting sleeve panels and embroidered Barcelona crest complete the classic early-2000s appearance. The front retains a clean, sponsor-free design, while the back displays RONALDINHO above a large yellow number 10, with small club crests incorporated into the numerals. This distinctive away shirt captures the style and excitement of Barcelona's championship-winning 2004–05 season.

    • Historical Significance: Barcelona's first La Liga championship since 1998–99

The 2004–05 season marked the beginning of a new era of success for FC Barcelona, as manager Frank Rijkaard guided the club to its first La Liga championship in six years.

Led by Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho, Barcelona finished first with 84 points, four ahead of Real Madrid. The title represented a major turning point for a club that had endured several seasons without winning the Spanish league.

Ronaldinho was the creative centrepiece of Barcelona's attack, combining exceptional dribbling, vision and technical ability with an entertaining playing style. He scored nine La Liga goals and played an influential role in the team's championship campaign.

The arrival of Samuel Eto'o from Mallorca significantly strengthened Barcelona's attack. Eto'o scored 24 league goals, finishing among the competition's leading scorers and establishing himself as one of Europe's most dangerous strikers.

Barcelona also benefited from the contributions of Deco, who joined from Porto after winning the Champions League, and Xavi Hernández, whose passing and control were increasingly important to the team's midfield. Captain Carles Puyol provided defensive leadership, while a young Lionel Messi made his official first-team debut against Espanyol in October 2004.

In the UEFA Champions League, Barcelona faced Chelsea in a memorable round-of-16 encounter. After winning the first leg 2–1 at Camp Nou, Barcelona lost 4–2 at Stamford Bridge and were eliminated 5–4 on aggregate. Ronaldinho's remarkable goal in the second leg, struck with minimal backlift from outside the penalty area, remains one of the most celebrated moments of his career.

Barcelona secured the league title following a 1–1 draw away to Levante on 14 May 2005, with Eto'o scoring the equaliser. The championship laid the foundations for the club's subsequent success, including the historic Champions League triumph in 2005–06.

This distinctive blue away shirt is particularly associated with Ronaldinho's peak years at Barcelona and the beginning of the club's modern championship era.
